Truing craftsman table saw blade

I'm trying to make my saw blade square with the guide, and I can't find my manual. The saw is a model 137.

I think I found the solution. I started loosening the screws in the table top and found the ones that let me realign the saw blade.

By saying square with the guide I take it that it is out front to rear? Does this saw have an extendable table?

Use a carpenter square to allign the blade both vertically and horizontally with your guide. This works very well.

I have a crftsman table saw mdl # 137228210 I purchased the saw used. I need a rip fence . the guides are allready there. any help would be appreciated

There's an exploded parts drawing and parts list at the link below. This may be useful to see what the fence is supposed to look like. It's not listed as an assembly, just a surprisingly long list of parts that would cost a fortune - if they were all available. Maybe you can find one on ebay. Barring that, you can always just clamp a board to the table to rip with - the hard part is getting the makeshift fence to be parallel to the blade. To do that you can use an adjustable square and measure from a miter slot in the table to get a quick and straight setup. Good luck.

Have an older Sears Craftsman 10" Table Saw, model

you should be able to order one from sears. another place to look is ebay. the round plastic thing is to mark with pencil the cut of the blade. put in your sliding miter Gage set at 90 deg. put a piece of wood on it, push forward and cut the wood then slide back and mark the wood position on the plastic. that's the point where your blade cuts

The blade it is not square with the fence?

I would go to managemyhome.com and download a manual for this tool. I used a table saw number and they have detailed instructions on how to align the blade. I used saw number 11329884. Let me know if you need more assistance.

I don't have this saw, but my guess is the adjustment is underneath the table, holding the blade assembly. You'll have fun standing on your head trying to adjust it (loosen, tighten, try again) but that may be the only way. Good luck.

I have a craftsman table saw model 137.248830 and the blade is out of square with the miter. How do I adjust it?

You should have 4 bolts holding the trunnion on to the table, just loosen these bolts up a little, tap the trunnion with a hammer, the right way, put a straightedge on the blade fully extended and measure across the table to a dado slot, front and rear, tap it till it is exact, tighten bolts and check again. This should do it. You can check your fence the same way. hope this helps.
