Fuel line for Stihl 025 chainsaw

I have a Stihl 025 chainsaw and the fuel line has collapsed like it was squeezed together with a pair of pliars. Can you give me some idea as to what happened? A part number for the fuel line?

The ethanol in the fuel is what caused the fuel line to get soft and collapse. You can go to your Stihl dealer and buy a new fuel line and a service kit for that saw. The service kit will contain a new spark plug, fuel and air filter. The part number for the fuel line is 1123 358 7703. The service kit is 1123 007 1800

Hi

It happens sometimes. You have to replace the fuel line. This is a trick.Remove the gas tank cap and take off the fuel line and remove the fuel filter.Take off the fuel line from the gas tank.Cut off the piece of the fuel line wich is larger and seals the gas tank. Now through that piece of fuel put an ordinary fuel but about the same diameter.Put all back and that is all you have to do.If you need farther info just let me know. best regards savumihai71

Check the pick up fuel line in the gas tank. If there is a fuel filter at the end of the line, remove and clean or replace. Use a small fexible wire to hook line and pull out thru gas tank opening.

Scorched pistons in a STIHL chainsaw - and its not the fuel mixture

What side of the piston is scored? If it's the exhaust side, it's running too lean, ergo, it's the mix ratio.

Hi

First remove the cover, air filter and the carburator. Then remove the gas tank cap and the fuel filter from inside of gas tank,at the end of fuel line.Take off the fuel line from the hole of the gas tank(at the top),replace the fuel line, put all back together and start the engine.
