This is not really anything that can be easily or cheaply fixed. This is a MAJOR problem with these tv's - call Sony and drive them crazy... some people have gotten assistance this way.

It is better left as it is until it grows or is bothering you much.

It might be caused by a electronic control board (T-CON) or the LCD Panel itself. Cost and efforts depend on the several factors including the model, size, brand of your TV. It is better left as it is until it grows , expands, spreads or is bothering you too much.

As monitors grow older, the pixels in them tend to degrade. As they degrade they lose the ability to display certain colors which it seems is happening. Unfortunately there is no solution to this matter.

You have a bad light engine. This is not an uncommon issue with these models. The part is not easy to replace and requires a little disassemble to replace it. one of the floresant bulbs has fail there is a place in Haverhill Ma called Tops Electronics that can fix you up really quick but you will have to ship it to them they do good work there

Based off manufactureing timeline it sounds like you have some capicitors going bad you will need to contact a qualified Service agent for a service call to repair the problem.

Green hues in corners of tv


You may have exposed it to a magnet. If they are growing...It's probably permanent, you might have to get a new one. If they aren't growing, then it's probably just temproarily damaged. Or, on the bright side, you could just try tightening the wires. It usually always works.

Hi, please try to replace the cable, try another input source and reseat or replace the bulb . If issue still present upon doing those steps you may need to call epson tech. support at 562-276-1300 so that they can verify whether your projector is under warranty or not and give some great option regarding your projector.
