Question about Frigidaire 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Range - White-on-White
After using the right front burner, I'll turn it off but the bruner stays on. I have to unplug the stove from the outlet in order to get it to turn off. The dial/knob works fine mechanically. I think it is an electrical problem but I'm not sure where to start.
Hello, the switch controls the element ,if the element is staying on replace the switch. Please note any electrical repairs should be performed by an authorized service technician. good luck

Hi Teresa Rhodes- Smith -Try reprogramming the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. If it proves to be ineffective, I strongly suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately and to assist with the repairs and to refrain from using the unit. The range could possibly be experiencing a communication error with the EOC, wiring failure, or faulty element sensor/switch.
