you should have gotten a usb cable with your phone. simply plug it into the side of your phone, and then plug the other end into either the front or back of your pc, depending on where your usb connection is. Now, turn on your phone, and a screen should pop up on your pc asking if it can install software. Then, simply solve the steps
check that you are using the right kind of charger made for that phone. i noticed that my windows 98 doesnt charge my phone, but my freinds windows xp does. i suggest going to an electronics or cell phone retail store and trying a new wall charger on it.
Is the headset paired and connected to your phone? Is bluetooth turned on in your phone? Look for the bluetooth icon on top of your phone's screen. Let me know what model phone you have and I can help you troubleshoot.
hello Burr !!
my name is M-zed. i think i hev a solution.
you should try going to ur phone settings, then to "connectivity", there you will find two options : sync & usb. choose usb then you will find another two options : data fax connections & memory card. select memory card. now you can connect it again to the PC using your usb cable & you will observe that it does not ask for installation then you can find the removable disk icon on "my computer". this way you can send mp3 files to your memory card, then copy or move them to your phone.
there is internal damage an easy fix is to plug it into the car charger and it will only work on the charger you should have let the phone sit out and dry with the battery detatched. my phone did the same thing about 3 months ago. if that doesn't work you'll need a new phone
That side button (aka "Smart Key") can be programmed to access frequently used applications, i.e. media player, games, calendar, etc. You need to change this to access the media player.
Go to the Main Menu>Settings>Personalise>Home Screen>Home Keys and select "Smart Key" and change this to access the Media Player if you want.
Otherwise, you can just access the media player from the main menu under "Media Center"
