Does anyone have the specific manufacturer/model of the conversion kit that is compatible with the Jardine Madison Crib? I called the manufacturer who stated that I could go into and Mattress store and get a conversion kit as long as it was metal and used the hook on style? What does that mean, I have been searching on line for day's, I see that these concersion kit's are manufacturer specific and have yet to find a mattress store on line that has these. If any one has purchased a kit and could give me the name and model number so I can try and purchase this kit I would greatly appreciate it, I am sure whoever else is looking would appreciate it too.
Hi, I've found something on amazon, take a look, it might be helpful Amazon com Baby Strollers conversion kit. Cheers
I have a Jarin Maddison crib that I am wanting to convert to a full size. I was not sure where to get the conversion rails so I just emailed them at [email protected] (from my instruction packet) they said this:
"The conversion rails you are requesting can be purchased at any BRU Store their SKN# is 934405 or you do have the option of purchasing them at any mattress store in your area. You will have to ask for the “Universal Full Size Hook on Style Conversion Rails.” "
I found the SKN at the BRU site, and it costs $69.99. I was just reviewing the quality and I am unsure about this purchase, but felt that I could at least post this info.
I too, had the same problem. Unfortunately, Jardine does not have a website. After getting the runaround with Babies r us, I finally go tthe solution. You have to specifically Ask for the conversion side rail kit for the cherry Jardine Madison crib. It runs $129.99 and takes 14 weeks to get in. Yes, you read it right. 14 weeks! So if you are thinking about purchasing this crib to grow with your baby, the best advice I can give is to order it when you order the crib! Hope this helps!
I have the manual. If you need a copy, please email me at [email protected] and just be sure to put it in the subject also so I know it isnt spam. Also, I called the phone number on the manual and they advised me that all that needs to be done to get the conversion kit is to go to any mattress or bedding store and ask for a "Full size (assuming length since it is for a Twin frame) Metal and Hook-On Conversion Kit.
Hope this helps.
Jardine changed they're name to Bergamo. Stop searching under Jardine since the recalls they don't sell anything under that name. They now only carry the style MADDISON. Don't waste you time calling Jardine, they will tell you to read the small print in the manual & they never made conversion rails and that you have to buy them from Babysrus. Babysrus will only sell you the metal conversion rails and in store only.
I just finally got my full bed put together and it was really easy and looks great! Ok so I called Jardine enterprises and they told me to call Sleepy's and ask for a Universal hook-on metal rails for a crib. So I did that and the Sleepy's I called said they were discontinued. I continued to call several more Sleepys till I got someone who told me that they were indeed available and he knew exactly what I needed...he just converted his 3 year old's bed. He was right and everything worked out perfectly. The gentleman I spoke with at Sleepy's is Damien. Your best bet is to call him no matter where you are located and he will order you exactly what you need or tell you which location to pick them up from. He is in a Sleepys in NJ #201-487-4242. They can deliver it to you and I think the charge is $90...well thats atleast what mine was but they also delivered a full box which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND because the bedrails make the bed really low to the ground and it does not look good that way. I have the manual for converting the kit if you decide to do it on your own. If you need it just respond to this answer. One more thing that I did not realize when the bed rails came and I thought they were not what we needed. You need to follow the instruction manual because it is very important that you take your crib apart completely to get both headboard

I went into sleepy's with this same problem the other day. The picture in the manual calling them Full Size Conversion Rails is not specifically what they have. They do not have the long rails that connect headboard directly into footboard. BUT what they do have is almost like what you need except there are two separate parts that connect to each end of the bed frame (which are about 20 bucks each). Although you have to have a specific beadframe for this to work. Now if you don't you can purchase one and it equals to about the price estimated by Babies r us or even Jardine but it would replace your current bedframe. You also have the capbility of adjusting it specifically the height you need. Since the bedframe may not match the height of the slot on head and foot board.
How do you know if you have the right bedframe, well both ends of the bed frame where the wheels are should be at the tips of the bed and have slots in it for a possible connection. Standard bed frames have one connection at the top of the bed and the bottom kind of hangs over a bit not allowing it to reach to the end as well as not having the possibility of connection.
Hope this made sense.
I have not purchased it yet...just have all the info.
Following the SKU# above I located the ToysRUs site and found these at $69.99 for the rails.

I have the Jardine (now Bergamo) Madison Lifetime crib and was told the same thing. Hook on style, full size metal conversion rail. I called the nearest Mattress Outlet store and with in 5 minutes he had them ordered from the warehouse! Now lets see if they fit! ;) Good luck to all. The people at Jardine enterprises are very rude!

I am also looking for conversion rails for the cherry Jardine madison crib. Didn't realize it was going to be hard until I read these posts! I would like to have the matching cherry color rails, but don't care if i just get metal rails because I will have a bedskirt over them anyway, so does anyone know what size metal bed rails I could get to fit this crib and where I could get them?? I don't want to spend over 100.00 on it either thats ridiculous when ive already spent almost 500.00 on the crib itself WITHOUT conversion rails!!

Usually answered in minutes!
Did u ever find this? I have the Olympia crib (one that was just recalled too!) and now that I have a replacement crib, it's time to convert it, but I can't even find info for the manufacturer. No official website or number except for the recall stuff, and evidently BabiesRUs is the only place that's sold these...Not to mention that the only rails I can find bolt on instead of hook on, and I just got rid of a bed that has the hook on ones! I would have just used my voucher to purchase a completely different crib insted, but I like this one (and can't find another that has the features I want/need) and I have the other matching furniture pcs, so I'd have to replace eveything or get something that doesn't match the rest...talk about a pain in my rear. Oh yeah, and stores aren't carrrying these pcs anymore in the same color so getting a replacement for the recall was a challenge in itself!
I am in the process of purchasing a Jardine Madison used crib and the person states they do not have the rails to turn it into a full size bed. It sounds like not a good idea to go ahead with the purchase. Does anyone have a solution?
Does anyone have the manual for the Jardine Madison Crib? I bought a used, I just need to know which screw should go where?
help i am looking for the crib rail for a jardine dj104bc bed! can anyone help me??
