You will need to call the dealer that the car was purchased at and give them the last 6 digits of your V.I.N. and the guys should be able to look it up for you on the database

I have an 03 Pontiac Grand Prix w/stock radio. The battery drained completely and now my radio will not come on. The display reads LOC. Any suggestions? Please help me! Thanks, Doug Handlin

The radio is asking abot "unlock" code, enter the code to unlocked. Generally this code is in the owners manual or radio backside. Other choice is visit your dealer and with your VIN number, ask about this.

Good luck.

I1996 ford fiesta with a radio fault /code required

Hi,

You can get this code from the dealer but they will charge you between £20 to £35 for doing this.

I can confidently recommend this site that does these codes for £3.50. They specialise in Ford radios only. Cheap, quick and always reliable. I've used it myself on several occassions. Click Here.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using FixYa.

2001 Acura CL - battery went out - when replaced the radio is asking for a code. I bought the car used and do not have the code - what can be done ?

Try looking for the code in the user manual or in the glove box. IF you cant find it then you only option would be to take the stereo out and get the serial number off it and then you would have to call the dealer to get the code. Try an audio shop, sometimes the work closely with dealership and can help you out

you don't have to pay the dealer. they should just give it to you. ive been a professional installer for ten years, and never seen anyone have to pay for that information, as long as they own the car.
