SOURCE: MSI mother borad came home with wires un hook

In your original subject line you list your motherboard as "MSI K8N Neo4-F Motherboard"
In your original message under that title you list your motherboard as
"
MSI k8t Neo 2"

Go to this link
http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=prodarchive&maincat_no=1

Double check and get your CORRECT motherboard number off the board itself.
Find it in the list and click on it. You will see options for drivers and manuals.
The manuals will tell you how to hook up your board.
These downloads are free.
if by chance this link doesnt work by the time you get this.
Google MSI + motherboards and you will see the maker of your motherboard.
Go there, select mainboards from the list of products and you will get the list I have recommended. Again, look for the correct motherboard number and click on it to get drivers and manuals.

Thank you and good luck. *s*

SOURCE: I need to know the

Hi carlmtclem, your not alone when it comes to hooking up the right led connector to the MSI MB. Firstly, you need to know what wire color is positive & which is negative. Most commonly the color white is ground/negative. Wire colors do vary from case to case. So look at your case led wires. Which ever color is common for each 2-pin connector, is negative. (Except the speaker wire).
All other colors are positive.
(The speaker wire color for negative is usually black & red is positive).
Your MSI board has two separate sets of pins.
JFP2 is used for the speaker only. Do not connect the power led there.

Pin one for JFP1 is shown in the manual. Pin 1 is positive & pin 3 is negitive for the HDD-LED, ECT.

Thats it.

Post here.
Good luck carlmtclem!
Thank you for using fixya.
