Check the brake control switch situated just above the break pedal arm under the dashboard. Could be a wire loose or unplugged or the switch itself could be faulty
in the rear lights you may have two bulbs one is the turn signal the other one is stop light / tail light the stop light / tail light has two filaments, one for the stop light (21 watt) & one for the tail light (5 watt) it is possible that the tail light filament is blown, try replacing the bulb to see if that fixes the problem,also check all the fuses as well.......hope this helps......cheers.

If you need to add refrigerant,& you won't know that
you do,you would have a leak & be breaking federal
laws by trying to add & then poluting the atmosphere
You car & and Lincoln LS are twins for the most part
You need a knowledgable a/c person & a scan tool,
as well as the usually a/c equipment you won't have
You can not add to any vehicle system,as you will let
air into it,it won't take ref under prressure & you may
overcharge it & ruin the compressor or worse
When mine came on it was the main computer system for the antilock breaking system - very expensive to fix. Needed the main componet that sensored the breaks & fluid to the breaking syserm - cost 2800.00 for the part alone then the labor on top of that.
