Question about Computers & Internet
My Toshiba Satellite A100 LAN is not working. It has Windows XP installed, the Device Manager is not listing the name of the Network H/w also. I am not aware of the problem properly. I tried connecting to the Wireless networks availbale, still the problem didnt work out.
PLease help me.
You are to download a proper NIC driver (WinXP) from Toshiba site on the Internet-enabled computer then port it to yours and install.

Right, you need to click
Then find a file called Setup, there may be several. You are looking for the one which is an Application. Mine is around 450kb in size.
Double click it to correctly install the Wireless adapter.
Follow the instructions on screen. This should take no more than 90 seconds from start to finish.

Try setting up a new Broadband internet connection. Input all the appropriate Login info and you ought to be good to go via the LAN port. Everything else is aimed towards Wireless.
