Question about Krups FBC112 1600 Watts Toaster Oven with Convection Cooking
If anyone in the house wants to get up early and toast a bagel, each push of a button on our Krups Toaster Oven (Ref. # FBC212/4G0) results in a loud beep --- and I mean loud! Can this sound be disabled? I can't find directions for this in the owner's manual. All our other appliances give you the option of turning off the signal. Help! We're about to have family of all ages in our home for the holidays. Some will want to sleep late and won't be able to!

I had the same issue with my Black and Decker toaster oven. I took the cover off and pulled the bell cover away from the clapper. The bell cover is still attached but not close enough to the clapper to make contact. Everything else works as it should with no noisy 'ding'.
