If you have not already done so, try another power adapter. In some cases, the cord between the power rectifier/step down transformer (the part that actually plugs into the AC outlet) and the connector at the frame end, becomes kinked or broken. The connector at the frame may also have become worn and not propely connected? If a second adapter does not work then the unit is faulty. Take it to your nearest service center for repair. (it may be less expensive to purchase another digital frame?)
I had the same problem. I discovered that there's a light on the AC Adapter (under the back cover). The light on mine wasn't coming on when I plugged it into the wall. I used an AC adapter from another frame and the PAN1502W02 turned on immediately. Off to Radio Shack to see if I can purchase a replacement AC Adapter.
I had this same issue. I hadn't used my frame in about a year and wanted to turn it on to show photos during the holiday gatherings. When i turned it on it would boot up then shut off. I realized the cord I was using wasn't the original cord and the output voltage was too low to power the frame. Make sure you are using the correct ac/dc cord.
Probably more than it's worth! Many of these items were found to be defective when shipped. This is the 41st one of these I have heard about with the same problem. If you can return it for a refund or swap for another brand. Please rate my help++++Thanks for using FIXYSA
Mine does this when the power cord shorts itself out. For a whileI could fix it by simply untwisting the cord close to the plug, but eventually I had to cut and splice the cord to keep the lines separate (think a bunch of electrical tape. It works fine now that the cord isn't shorting out. Hope this helps!
Where do I go to have my picture fram serviced???? It has worked fine. Then it shut off and will not turn on again. I pulled the power cord and left it off for a couple of days and then plugged it back in. That had worked before and now does not.
