Question about Denon AVR-3803 Receiver
I'm bringing in audio from a Playstation 3 through an optical cable. I'd like to be able to output the sound to a set of Sony wireless earphones. The base for the earphones only has a right and left analog input. I've tried plugging the earphones into the audio out jacks for VCR 1 and VCR 2 but can't get any sound. Will the receiver not convert the digital to analog? If it does, which set of audio outputs could I use for this?
Thanks for the help.
On the Denon AVR-888 (and I presume others), you have to put the unit in "record" mode. This is covered under "Other Operations and Functions" in the manual. Here are the steps:
1. On the front of the unit, press the zone2/rec select button
2. Turn source select until "recout source" is displayed
3. Turn source select to choose the input source
Hope this helps.
