I have idea how to put music on here what so ever pl help details plz

    I can't put music on my mp3 player...I got it from one of my friends,and it had some music.That music I could delete,but to put the music what I want,I just can't do it.Help me please!!!

You can burn songs off of a cd or download them. If you have Windows Media Player, make sure you have songs on your library. Highlight the songs you want, go to "sync", and they will be on your device. If you DONT hae windows media, just burn the songs on a file, and drag and drop them in the music folder of your sansa m240

I have a MAC and it will recognise the sandisk m240 mp3 player. When you look under the finder tab it is there. But when I try to download songs from i tunes it won't work. Any ideas?


Tranferring songs from iTunes to the m240 needs to be done in mp3 format. iTunes music in aac format should be converted to mp3.

Putting files in the mp3 format:

Next link ( 4. ) tells how to use iTunes on a MAC for transferring files to mp3 format:
Download iTunes ( version 9 ):

Manual for the Sansa Clip ( readable with Adobe Reader ):

After transferring music to the supported format,
use the Drag and Drop method as described on page 11 (=page 9) for putting songs in the MUSIC folder.

Look on page 22 (=page 20) for the supported file formats.

I have free space that i can't use on my SanDisk micro SD card.

Make sure its formated FAT 32 or above such as NTFS this will shore up this memory issue problem with your memory stick.

My sandisk stays frizen on da fm radio screen and it wont turn off

download some new songs? might just be the screen. see if you can play songs (blind navigation).

Well it sounds like you need to backup your Data meaning your Music on the MP3 Player, and put it back on to your Computer. That is the problem that you are having

That's a pretty weird problem. The only suggestion I can give you is to check to make sure the music you put on was 1) in mp3 or wav format and 2) if this is music you have purchased, to ensure you have the rights properly set to play the music

The songs might have a virus in it or they might be corrupted. Reformfat the sandisk by going into MY COMPUTER and then finding the devices icon and right click on it and click on FORMAT.
