If my computer doesnt have for the cd how do i download pictures to my computer from my camera?

shouldent need a cd. just plug your camera into your computer and wait for the window asking what you want to do with your camera to pop up. Then click on the " open folder to view files". Then usually there will be 1-3 folders in there. just open each one up until you find your pictures. Then you drag the pictures you want from your camera onto your desktop or my documents or any folder you prefer. Hope this helped.

Why wont my photos upload on my computer?

Question; Have you tried plugging the camera in to the computer with the usb cord?...If not, leave your memory card in the camera and connect the camera via usb cord into the computer, after a few seconds orso a window will come up asking you"what do you want to do with this device" orso, just close (x) that and click on "start" on the desktop. When that opens, click on " my computer". A window named"my computer" will open up showing several devices (depending how many device you have on your computer). For instance, the hardrive is usually marked (c) disk..Look for a "device" with a name that sounds like your camera and open (double click) that. If you don't recognize any devices, then open them all, one by one, (except the hardrive (c) ) and see if there are any folders in there that seems to represent your picture file orso (mine says 100dcism or something like that, I dont know why lol), double click such file and it will open up. If you then see files named gpeg etc then those are your pictures. If you are still not sure then double click one and it will open up, if it is a picture then your picture will come up in full view, voila, you found your pics (they are in the file you openend before yopu actually saw the picture come up)...If you still dont see your picture, just close all windows and repeat process on different "discs" ( (c), (f), (g) and any others, except (c) thats the harddrive usually....Once you've located your pictures copy or cut (hover the mouse pointer over the picture you want and right-click then select cut (this removes the file, picture in thid case, from wherever you cut it, or you can copy it(same right-click procedure) and select"copy" this will leave the pic where it was while making a copy you can "paste" anywhere you want them from the place you found them and paste them in to the folder you want ( I sometimes create a new folder on the desktop and put all my files I take from the camera in there, then later I can sort them to seperate the video's from the picture files....For your problem in particular, I would follow these procedures till I found the new (undeleted ) files you are trying to load into your computer, whern you find those then cut or copy those to wherever you like (ie "my pictures" folder).

How to download pictures onto a cd

Turn camera on, in playback mode.
Plug into PC via USB cable.
Open "my computer" find camera drive (usually E,F or G)
Inside will be a folder called DCIM, open it.
Inside is a folder called something like 101PANA (mabye more than one)
If multiple folders, hold CTRL key and click on each one to highlight.
Right click on one of them, and select Copy.

You can now paste them to "My Pictures" inside My Documents.
And/or you can burn them to CD by:
Putting a blank CD-R into the CD writer,
Opening "My Computer", right click on the CD drive, select paste.
Windows will prompt you to burn them to disc (popup bottom taskbar, next to clock)

How do I get the pics off of the camera itself?

In the camera's menu you can either delete the pictures one by one or mass delete them.
Alternatively you can perform a format which will delete all the pictures at once.

Cant download photos to my computer

hey, If your driver cd has been installed and the camera shows up in the pc, and it doesnt complain about anything you should be able to view the images by:

1. goto desktop
2. Open my computer
3. now look around for the cameras storage memory, there should be a new drive there. If you now remove the cameras usb cable. and plug it back, keep the my computer open and watch witch drive disapears and comes back.
4. The one that disapeared and came back, is your cameras memory, open it and open the folders with in it to get to your pictures.
5. now that you have found the picture files, you can copy them to your pc, or print them, or send them to a online picture service to have them mail the pictures for you. This costs ofcourse.

I cann't open my last pictures

Solution: From the top menu bar, select Tools, Check for missing pictures. Click Start and follow the on-screen prompts. This utility will search your hard drive for the missing photos. My photos were found in C:\Document&Settings\username\Local Settings\temp folder. If this utility found your missing photos, following the prompts to relink the photos. You just need to redirect the restore to the path were the photos were located.

Copy picture fram PC back to Canon IXUS 750

Try closing the included software, open My Computer, look for "Removable drive" or it may say the name of your camera. Open this, and you will see the folders that are on the "disk" inside your camera. You can copy files/photos from elsewhere on your computer's hard drive, to the camera's disk by using cut and paste. You must find the files you want to copy using My Computer. Usually your photos are stored in My Documents>My Pictures.
If you want the photos to appear on the camera screen once disconnected from the computer, you must search through 1 or 2 folders in the camera disk to find the Folder that the camera saves it's photos to. (Usually called something like DSC001).
