Question about Lexmark X215 MFP All-In-One Laser Printer
I was wondering if someone could help me. Usually I dont have problems printing but I am trying to print a page of labels and nothing happens on my printer. My computer says the document is sent to print whilst the printer just sits there with PC-Print... on it. I am desperate and need some urgent help here. This has happened on one other occasion when trying to print a document that was sent via email. I even tried to copy the labels into a new word document and still nothing happens. Please advise. I have also tried turning printer on and off and still nothing.
Steps to troubleshoot:
1.Look in print preview (file-print preview)
Check that u could see all the 4 pages in print preview with same alignment.
2.Still if u cant print, then there is problem with the format of ur document..Save the file with .doc extension
3.Still the problem, Uninstall the USB composite Device of the printer from the devicemanager(Right clk my computer-properties-hardware - Device manager-Universal serial bus controllers).then reboot.

You may try to change the spool data format:
1. Click on "Start," "Control Panel," "Printers and Other Hardware" and "Printers and Faxes."
("Start," "Control Panel," "Hardware and Sound" and "Printers" for Vista...)
2. Then, right click on the Lexmark printer icon and left click "Properties."
3. Either on the "Advanced" tab or the "General" tab for some models, there is a "Print Processor" button, left click it.
4. This is the spool format setting. Under "Print processor" it should be set to "Lexmark *** series print processor." Next, under "Default datatype," select "NT EMF 1.008."
5. Click "OK" and exit back out to your desktop.
6. Try printing again.

go to start menu, control panel, printers and faxes, right click your printer, click properties, click the advanced tab and make sure your printer is set to spool print documents.

Might be a driver issue. Uninstall the Lexmark software properly by following the steps found on this link: http://bit.ly/9CWdbY. Once pc is ready, check if your Vista is running on 32-bit or 64-bit by clicking on the Windows logo Start button > right click on Computer > Properties. Leave the printer disconnected from your computer for the meantime. To reinstall, I suggest you use the updated driver from the Lexmark website. Just click on this link: http://bit.ly/9w3GYn (for 32-bit) or this link: http://bit.ly/djjBEo (for 64-bit). Download and install the software. Follow the instructions on the software. If this doesn't help, I strongly suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance.
