Let www.sciphonesettings.co.uk take the pain out of configuring your Sciphone/CECT handset to enable GPRS, WAP, MMS and Webmail. You could be surfing the web and sending/receiving multimedia messageswithin 24 hour. They supply setting to Austrailia too.
The answer to your question is, Yes! Here is a link on how to set up a P-168 China iPhone clone for T-Mobile. (NOTE!) This settings are old and may have been changed by now by T-Mobile. Call T-Mobile and ask for tech support to get the current settings. Do the same if you have AT&T as your provider. Click here: http://yzcompany.com/ebay/P168+-Setting-for-T-Mobile.htm
Just a note: I programmed the internet settings for T-mobile into a cell phone watch from China about a year ago and it worked great. So it can be done.
Actually, it's a dual sim phone so inserting the card is all that is needed. The internet is not working because you have to have the Data plan internet for smartphones. Regular internet you have on any other phone doesnt work. The data plan is a 24.99 with t-mobile as I had to get it to. After switching internets you have to call T-mobile and get the GPRS settings for internet or do a search like i did and find them yourself. Go under service and data accounts. Make a new account and enter the settings and bam you have internet.
