Re: fixing maxicosi seat to base
If you have a Cabrio Fix carseat, underneath the carseat should be two silver metal bars that slot into the base, if these are not on the carseat then you have the Cabrio model which is not compatible with the base.

The handle is not any part of removing the CabrioFix from the Easybase 2 apart from to lift the carseat away from the base. You need to press the grey / silver buttons on either side of the carseat and hold them down as you lift the carseat from the base to remove it.
If you're still unable to do so we would advise you to take the product to your retailer with proof of purchase for them to investigate further.
The description provided is how the EasyBase will appear when a carseat is NOT on it. The indicators will go green only when a carseat is correctly locked in place on the base and the grey handle will go in.
Hi - If it is an infant carrier Group 0+ carseat it must never be installed facing forwards. It is designed as a rear facing carseat to keep your child safe in the event of an accident. Always install a carseat according to the instructions.
just need to work your way round it. it's fastened in places by loops on the cover and hooks on the seat plastic, all quite stable, just go easy and see where it's fixed and how.
big tip is you need the handle in an upright position. I just took mine off tonight and it took about 10-15 minutes but got there in the end.
The hardest part to figure was getting the central bottom strap through the cover - at first glance it appeared to be stuck.but if you have the seat facing you and just underneath at the front, the belt finishes, and at the end of the belt it is looped over two 'prongy' things in the seat so you just need to work that from side to side to slip it off, and you can then thread it through the hole in the seat cover.
Hi, all the maxicosi carseats will fit onto the zapp using the adaptors that come with the zapp pushchair (but not the newly rebranded bebe loola).
The difference between the maxi cosi cabriofix and the ordinary cabrio or citi is that the cabriofix can be attached to the maxicosi in-car seat base (easybase or easyfix), whereas the cabrio and citi can only be fitted in the car using the cars seatbelts, they wont attach to the incar base. Hope I have helped a bit x
it definitely is NOT self explanitory as to where the LATCH is supposed to be anchored when not in use. It took some time, but I figured it out. The Top Tether should be hooked on the recline prop/foot/base area - depending on which way you have this positioned - for forward or rear-facing use, the piece to hook the top tether on could either be towards the front (rf mode) or back (ff mode). It's just a simple cut out in the plastic. The Lower Anhcors need to be clipped to a small plastic notch along the back side of the seat shell - you have to lift up the cover to get a good look at them - they are towards the top of the seat on the back and don't really look like much but do secure the lower anchors when attached. I hope that helps! Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
I have a Graco LiteRider Travel System car seat and I took it all apart to clean it and I cannot figure out how the straps in the back are supposed to go. Does anyone have a picture of the back of one thast I can see?
