Re: Nokia 9300i Won't boot.
Try taking out the battery, putting the original SIM back in. Then reseat the battery again. If the interior screen doesn't come on, insert the power cable before switching on (using the power button on the outside of the case).
That's worked for me in the past.

You have purchased a htc handset which will work only on a particular service provider like AIRTEL OR VODAFONE, check your default internal memory ringtone section , whether it has airtel ring tone ....
then by that service providers SIM CARD , your hand set will work.
some times dual band sim cards dont work on triband service providers.handset
use the following settings
IP address 188.8.131.52
Proxy Port Eanbled
Proxy port number 8080
al other settings could be anything but should be something sensible, like name, homepage.
No user ID, no password. both blank.
off you communicator while on it again and keep pressing the keys (ctrl+shift+f) this will restore formt you communicator while remember in this process remove the sim card and memory card out of the communicator..
you may have locked your sym card. if you did, your phone would prompt you for a password when it turns on, just to access the network. try some basic codes like 0000 or 1234. these are most likely the factory defaults.
Remove your memory card (if inserted) or try booting it without any cards (Memory, SIM) it should boot all the way up to the main screen without a SIM. (Calls and text are unavailable because theirs no SIM.) If it works then your problem would be in your SIM or Memory Card.
