Question about Electronics - Others
This is Rajnish here, sir i'm having problem with my 8 GB pen drive. The problem is, when i insert my pen drive my system detects it properly. but when i transfer any data to the pen drive, it shows copying the file but as 2 or 3 progress bar moves, it suddenly shows an error "the file or path is not correct, make sure you've given the correct path". Now when i check the property then it shows "used space 0 Byte And Free Space 0 Byte". When i format the pen drive, property shows "7.65 GB is free and 0 Byte" used. And Again when i transfer the data to the pen drive same problem occurs. There is no problem with da pendrive cause i checked it on other system it works properly (Write the data as well as read the data). I'm only able to read the data with the pen drive on my system only if the data was written on other system.
I thought there would be problem with my operating system files or driver so i formatted my full PC and repartitioned but no change. And when i insert any other pen drive to my PC, it works properly. I also checked the pendrive on other USB port available in my system but still i'm getting the same problem.
My system configuration:
OS: MS Windows XP Pro Service pack 2.
Processor: AMD athelon 5000+
Motherboard: Asus A8N-MX
File System of hard Disc: NTFS
File System of pen drive during and after format: FAT32
What would be the reason causing this problem and if there is problem with hardware settings then please let me know the solution.
Please reply me with ur solution soon
I'll be thankful of yours.
I had purchased a pen drive of Moser Baer AZ-601USB device. previously it was working good, but since last 3 days i could not open my pen drive..it asks for formattin. i have formatted it , but after that it says your pen drive is write protected. so i could not open and use my pen drive....
so plz solve my problem to open my pen drive.
