Question about Canon EOS Rebel GII with 35-80 lens 35mm Film Camera
I received the low battery indicator so i replaced the batteries. the camera still will not work. the low battery indicator still flashes & i cannot take a photo. i have had the camera for 2 years. this sounds just like "alisha"'s problem but it was not commented on. any ideas?
If that camera has a problem, the low battery symbol will flash as a warning to tell you that it is not working properly. Kind of like the "Check Engine" light in your car. It tells you something is not working, but doesn't give you any clue what it is!
Check to make sure the pop-up flash is not sticking down when it is supposed to be popping up. That is the most common cause for that problem. Also, check the shutter blades in the film compartment to make sure they haven't been pushed out of their tracks when you were loading film.
If neither one of those is causing the problem, take it to a local camera repair shop and have them check it out.
