Question about Panasonic CQ-RX400U Car CD/ MP3 Player
Just got a Technics J201 car cassette at a used stuff shop and need to know the wiring configuration of the harness connector at the back so I can soder wires to it rather then buy a harness. I could be being really cheap and may just go buy the connector, but want to do this as inexpensivly as possibly. The head unit cost $4 and may not even work.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

The wires for the two harnesses should be color coordinated or at least closely colored. The harness should have come with either a guide that says what is what or the wires themselves have little flags saying what they are. You can use this to match it up with CD Players wires by using the manual from the CD player to know which wire is what.

SOURCE: Whining noise @ acceleration?
You have a bad ground somewhere. You also may nneed to replace your spark plug wires. The deck is getting interference from the engine due to a grounding problem.
Best of luck

Solid black is always ground on aftermarket head units. Red is usually the ignition wire, ie when you turn your car on, your stereo turns on. Hot or positive is usually yellow and usually the biggest wire

FR - Green/Orange
FL + Orange/Green
FL - Light Blue/White
RR + Orange/Red
RR - Black/White
