I recommend that you use a fiberglass stain remover. IF that doesnt work, then try a product called barkeepers friend which is a mild abrasive scrubbing powder. good luck

Are tanning beds safer than tanning in the sun?

Although tanning beds are more controlled than tanning outside in the sun, ultimately all exposure to UV rays is potentially dangerous to the skin and can put you at risk of skin cancer and premature aging. For a safer way of tanning - look for sunless tanning products rather than using tanning beds or laying on the beach for hours.

What is sunless tanning lotion?

Sunless tanning lotions contain an ingredient that stimulates the top layer of skin to create a darker color by creating brown color melanoids in the skin.

Whilst it might give you a good skin color, it's not a substitute for getting exposure to the sun and therefore Vitamin D.

Are there special tanning lotions for indoor sun beds, or can I use a regular tanning lotion?

There are special indoor tanning lotions that supposedly are packed with vitamins and minerals and help speed up the tanning on a sunbed, which also helps you get better value for money from your session. I don't know if they are significantly different from tanning lotions that you buy for outdoor use. You should ask your pharmacist for advice.

I have a white rubber sink mat. How do I clean off the coffee and tomato sauce stains?

I tend to scrub my mat with detergent. Rinse it with warm water and leave it to dry off. You can also leave them to soak overnight with soap and then rinse them off in the morning. For really tough stains, I pour baking soda on top, let it sit for a bit and then scrub the mat. You can try leaving them in the sun, because sun bleaches white things.

I started using Betrayal tanning lotion, after i used the tanning bed i had splotches all over my body? is this normal for this lotion?

I don't know about that particular lotion but you probably didn't evenly spread it over the skin. Some tanning lotions are just not very good either. They say exfoliating before can prevent patchiness.

My sunless tanner makes my face look all spotty. It sinks into my pores and looks terrible. What can I do to stop this?

You need to ensure that your skin is properly prepared before applying the product.

Ensure your skin is clean and oil free.

Exfoliate gently using a scrub with small particals to remove loose and dead skin cells.

Moisturise the skin, but ensure it has soaked into the skin thoroughly before applying the tanning product.

Ensure that you have applied the product evenly.

Keep your skin moisturised, and exfoliate again if neccesary.

I have been told to use denatured alcohol to clean the quartz sink. How is it diluted...what is the ratio to water? Thank you.

Denatured alcohol is only necessary for cleaning stains which are difficult to remove from your quartz sink, such as ink, oil-based stains or paints, etc. These stains should be dealt with immediately by scrubbing with a cloth dampened with denatured alcohol (undiluted).

Expecially difficult stains can also be dealt with by filling the sink with a highly diluted organic cleaner such as bleach and let stand overnight, however this method only recommended for well ventilated areas for obvious reasons.

Normal day-to-day cleaning can be managed with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth.

I have a brown colored stain in the bottom of my white franke white fireclay sink (maybe coffee stain, not sure) I can't get it clean with regular hand soap which is what franke told me to clean the sink...

I used Cerama Bryte for the dark colored stain, I left it on for about 5 minutes and then rubbed it clean, the stain is gone. Now I tried it on the small aluminum scratch marks, no thank you, it couldn't help that problem. Still seeking a solution. Thanks
