This is the only solution that will work after trying out so many versions I could find on the internet.

Solution from http://freereset.blogspot.sg/2011/11/reset-canon-mp140-mp145-ink-level.html

Instructions

1 PIXMA Pixma MP140, MP145 printer off by pressing the power button once.
2 Hold the button "Power" and "Stop / Reset" at the same time. The power light turns on the unit.
3 Continue holding the Power button, but let's go "Start / Reset" momentarily, then press twice.
4 Let go of both the "energy" and "Start / Reset" buttons. The PIXMA Pixma MP140 or MP145 is currently in the "service" and standby for a selection of services.
5 Press the "Start / Reset" four times. The power light on the unit will go from orange to green and the printer is reset.
6 PIXMA Pixma MP140 or MP145 disconnect from the electrical outlet and then plug it back in and turn it as you would normally.

How to override lexmark s415 low ink

There's no way to override the low ink warning. If one of the cartridges is out of ink, you won't be able to continue printing.

Refilled cartridges will not report or reset the ink levels.

Canon ip2700 after refill of Black cartridge ink status still shows 'low' and print is very poor - breaks, incomplete - as ink running out. How to reset ink level, or to disable warning, and to get print...

For your ip2700, even if you reset your refilled cartridge, they are not going to be usable.
After 4~5 times of color refill, you will see e5 error that cartridge is not readable anymore.

So you need to replace your cartridge with new one somehow.

If you would like to save money, try refill kit by "ROADINK".
Not only they are easy, but also the printing quality is good.
For your better understanding pls check out my youtube video.
And will see how easy ink refill can be done.

My hp 6110 doesn't print colour?

When you refill an HP cartridge there is a chip on some that tells the printer how many pages have been printed. This doesn't get reset when it gets refilled in a majority of the refill places. So you will have to ignore the low ink warning on those cartridges or get them done somewhere else like a Cartridge World. If in fact the ink tank is chipped, then they generally can't be refilled without resetting the chip.
