SOURCE: mpeg recording to SD card

This may have something to do with the fact that the camera powers down before the battery is exhausted as the maximum run time is 140 mins which is roughly the time you say it stays on for.

SOURCE: Panasonic PVGS-50D SD memory card

Check your manual for the max supported SD card size. Most likely it will either support a minimum of 2-4 gb :)

So yes you can get larger cards for your PV GS 50D

SOURCE: When I use different SD

Check with the instruction manual for the camcorder which type and capacity SD cards it will "support" and use only the specified cards. The camera will reject any card with a greater Gb capacity than it's system can support.
The more recent your camera the greater card memory capacity will be supported.

My Sandisk 2GB micro SD card will not re-format and hence remove corrupted files using the Windows format tool. Plus files will not delete at all, and just reappear!!! Is the card gone for good?

To be honest, once you're getting this kind of problem, the card can no longer use. You need to buy a new card.

However, I would suggest to try different things first:

1. If you're trying to reformat the card using the SD adapter or card reader, you may want to try to use different adapter or different card reader.

2. You may try different computer as well.

If the same problem occur, then there's no other option but to buy a new one.

Thank you and good luck!

Tried two different brand sd cards. c533 tries to

Try turning the camera off and then back on.Ensure that the memory card is the proper type for the camera. If the memory card is the proper type, try re- formatting the card using the Format option in the Delete sub-menu of the Playback Menu. If it will not format, it is probably corrupted. Replace the memory card

You haven't given us enough information to give a "good" solution.

Try the video-card in another computer.

Try connecting a different monitor to the video-card.

Try a different "data" cable between the video-card and the monitor.

I cant figure out how to use the memory card reader, whenever I plug it into the computer nothing shows up. What do i do?

Make sure that the memory card is properly seated inside the card reader.
Try different cable.
Verify with the manufacturer, if this card reader is a Plug-n-Play or if you need to install a driver to the computer.

Try connecting it to different computer. Or try different types of memory cards (the cards should be supported).

If same problem occur, you need to contact the reseller, because the card reader could be defective.

Good luck!

It doesn't read when i plugged in any computer using card reader

You need to try different steps to isolate the problem.

1. Make sure that the card is properly inserted to the card reader.

2. Try connecting the card reader into different USB ports of the computer.

3. Try connecting it into different computer. If you get the same problem.

4. Try another card reader.

5. Make sure that there's no password set to your memory card. Because if there's a password set to it, there's no computer that could detect and read it.

Good luck and have a good evening!

Cant upload all photos from my camera They are all the same size & format. The camera has not been dropped or anything. This problem stsrted a few weeks ago.

Possible solutions:
Remember you need to turn the camera on when transferring.
Try a different USB outlet
Try a different cable
Try a different computer.

The card that you currently have might be faulty.
Format the card, note this will erase all pictures currently stored on the card.
Please also try another card.
