Remember the older stuff sometimes "will mess up after extended use
..dirt issues, and low battery voltages". Wipe the pushbuttons and use
very fresh batteries on any set that won't properly perform.

The Learn feature on this remote worked well for me. It takes a little time because you have to teach it the code for each button but it worked well for my cable remote, which I had never been able to get any universal remote to work with.

I will try to make this clear! The NF015UD (which is the OEM remote for the Emerson LCD TV Model LC320EM8A works as it should. The problem I am asking is what are the codes for Emerson TVs that are used by Comcast Cable remote (it controls the converter box Scientic Atlanta Explorer Model 8300HD) but supposedly will ALSO control the Emerson TV if programed. I just need the program codes for the tv that I should load into the Comcast remote so that the Comcast remote will control the Emerson TV as well.. I have received a load of 4 digit codes of which the comcast remote will not recognize, but will recognize a 5 digit code which was provided by the Comcast remote install documents.. Now another thing is I heard that there is a procedure by which the Comcast remote will LEARN from the Emerson remote by placing them head to head. I wish to have further info on how to do this and to what buttons of which remote to push! Whew! This certainly tiresome!
