Turn signals on 2004 Explorer light up but won't flash

Turn signals flash "sometimes" and then just stop. Sometimes won't flash at all. I can see the turn signal light on at the dashboard and the appropriate light in front and back go on but no flashing. The fuse is fine. Checked. The hazards work. Thanks!

This is most likely going to be an issue with a relay. The relay on the fords that is tied into the blinker module can go bad is it gets wet or over loaded. Are there any after market things added to your vehichle? This can also be caused by overloading part of your ECU if you have after market headlights, or headlights that carry too high a load. When it blinks for 3-4 times and stops, does it blink faster than normal? This can be a sign of a false connection to the light itself. Such as having the wrong bulb in for the blinker.

SOURCE: rear turn signal and hazard light don't flash (left side only)

The rear left turn signal bulb must be replaced immediatly before it melts the light socket, if it has'nt yet. Also please verify that the correct light bulb is being installed. because even though many bulbs look the same they are not identical. Installing the wrong bulb can be the begining of many, many problems in the particular circuit

Sounds like your flasher relay is broken. A lot of people think that because their hazard flashers work that everything is OK, this isn't so. Hazard flashers are on a seperate system, and as such they have their own relay.
You will need to find where your indicator relay is located and replace it with the correct type.

Indicator won't stop flashing

What type of vehicle are you talking about? And does the opposite side operate correctly? What are you referring to when you say stalk returns to off position? If you are talking about the directionals or turn signals of this vehicle as to when you make either a left or right turn and it not shutting off when the steering wheel is turned back after the turn has been made then you're dealing with a canceling function within the directional or multi-function switch. Not sure if this is what you're talking about when you are reffering to indicator flashing.

2004 buick lasabre, right side turn signal blinking fast.

Check the front turn signal bulbs. This will affect the resistance in the circuit and cause the working light to flash at a much faster rate.

2004 chrysler pacific will start sometimes but sometimes won't

I would suspect the fuel pump is the problem, it may be sticking at times and this causes a no start. The pump is located inside the fuel tank and it is electric.

All of the turn signals on 2004 Honda Civic have stopped working. They all still work when my hazard lights are on, but not to signal a turn. Now, sometimes it will work for a few flashes, sometimes only...

You need a new flasher. Go to the parts store and ask for a flasher that fits your car. Also ask them where to find the flasher on your car. It is usually under the dash somewhere, sometimes plugged into the fuse box. My manual does not say where yours is, but it may be next to the hazard flasher. If it is, you could turn the hazard flasher on and trace the sound to find them both. OK?

I pulled my switch out of the dash and sprayed it with contact cleaner. Air dry and put back in. 2 years without a problem. If you're not electrical savy, I'm pretty sure there was a recall on that, and it should be replaced for free.

Turn signals flash sometimes other times they just light up

replace flasher, or switch with emergency flasher to test.. Should be in with fuses or in that area.
