I can not access safe mode option. I tryed f1, f2, f8,f9, f10 Esc, nothing works, Windows will not boot up. The computer boots to a black screen with the words 'Non-System disk or disk error. I checked and nothing is present in either drives or USB slots.
If you getting this error then you won't be able to open computer in safe mood, Because this error message indicate that there is no proper bootable media selected or there is no OS in your Hard drive.
First thing you can do is go to BIOS and check what is your First boot device selected, if it is other then Hard drive then change it Hard drive and save setting and come out of it.
If there is any media, like Pen drive or any CD then remove it and start your computer.
If still you have same problem then I am afraid that your OS is Corrupted.

Welcome to Fixya
You are having that issue because the system is not able to detect the operating system of your computer. This could be caused by two reasons, The hard drive of your computer may already be defective and is no longer detected by the computer or the operating system of your computer is corrupt.
If this issue is caused by a corrupt operating system then you can try to press F11 for system recovery. This would cause the system to restore to its factory condition. Please note that this step would cause you to lose data on you computer.
You can also try to press F9 to run diagnostics on the hard drive of the machine. If it displays an error the hard drive of your computer is defective and you would have to contact HP to check If you still have warranty and get a replacement Hard drive
Hope this helps

Try clearing CMOS. Take the battery out and press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. If that doesn't work disconnect or change out drives and memory one by one until you find the reason your pc won't POST. Once you can at least get to BIOS you've found your problem.
