Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC
Have a friend whose pc we had to restore from the recovery disk. Not sure why but the drivers for the network card and other devices did not load. When you go to device manager it has the yellow ? and the ! by several devices under the other device heading. When you do ipconfig nothing comes up to choose from. We discovered things were not right when trying to use Internet Explorer to load the RoadRunner software. IE said it could not find the search page. We had the cable hooked to the modem and the ethernet cable hooked from the modem to the pc. Not getting any send/receive on the modem. If the drivers are on the recovery disk, how can we get them to load on the pc. If we cannot get them off the disk how can we get the drivers for their pc brought down to my pc so we can take them on a thumb drive to load on the other pc. The pc is an Emachine T6532 with Windows XP Multimedia Center operating system. Will appreciate any help you can provide.
