Found out after many wasted dvd's that this program is now junk! not supported anymore, therefore throw it away if you need to burn anything. I figured buying another program was going to be cheaper than figuring this one out. I read many articles and many people were having the same problem with no results. I bought Adobe Photoshop and burned like a charm. So now my photo suite disc is going into the trash along with all the half burned dvds i tried to make with this junk program. Thanks again Microsoft. Here is another customer going to Mac when my PC goes belly up.

Unable to burn discs using Corel Video Studio X2. Program all OK until final phase of burning. Using Windows 7 on new PC. Could problem be Windows 7? Any help appreciated.

Make sure that you have all the patches installed from Corel's site, there is a known issue that the buttons will not show up on Windows 7 unless you have the latest patch.

If you have all the update installed there could be a few different issues.

1. update direct x from Microsoft
2. Make sure your video card drivers are up to date
3. Try rendering the project first and then burn the rendered file to the DVD
4. Try burning a Disc image, the option is on the final burn screen, if you are able to create the disc image try a different burning software that you may have installed on the system

Unable to burn movie to DVD/CD

You can't burn a DVD movie using a COMBO drive or Compact disc rewriter, change your movie format from DVD to VCD and then try again, I recommend you use nero to make/edit movie and ImgBurn to make ISO image and burn it onto disc.

Can't get digital pictures to download from hardrive to cd

How big are the image files you are transferring? Do you have a CD Burner or a DVD burner and are you using the appropriate blank discs? Are the pictures in the right format? Let me know if you need me to convert anything for you or if you want me to burn the images to a disc and sent to you. Ambrias Company

Crack in cd

if the cd is in pieces then its very unlikely that you could recover anything from it, if the cd is intact but with cracks, you can still very likely take a image/backup the cd.

use clone cd
http://www.slysoft.com/en/clonecd.html

it had done a good job on few unreadable discs i've had. Then you can burn the image to another cd, cd/r or cd /rw . or you can use a virtual cd drive to use the disc with just the image and no disc in the drive.

you can use daemon tools for that

After you install Windows Vista on a computer that uses an SiI Parallel Advanced Technology Attachment (PATA) chip from Silicon Image, the computer does not recognize an attached optical drive as a drive that supports recording. Therefore, you cannot use the computer to burn CDs or DVDs.
This problem occurs because the SCSIport driver does not populate the correct number of bytes for an IOCTL_STORAGE_QUERY_PROPERTY Request Packet (IRP) when the device does not return a correct serial number.
Service pack information loadTOCNode(2, 'resolution'); To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows Vista or download the following Hotfix.

Unable to Save - Internal Error

Use your burning software or similar ones like NTI CD/DVD maker, Nero or EZCD Creator and start new DVD DATA job. At the blank layout screen, drag your cd drive letter into the layout. The software should ask something like "do you wish to load the previous image from cd drive?" Click on yes and you should see the folders and files re-appear. Change the name of one of the folders or files and then re-burn. This should re-create the DVD data structure so you can access it properly.
