Can receive files via blue tooth on blackberry but how to receive contacts from lg phone

You can send your contacts via Bluetooth, it'll be stored within the Documents folder. Open the vcf file - contact file and select Add to Contacts.

If this option is not available I would recommend sync-ing through Outlook. Put the LG software on to your computer and complete the sync. Then connect your BlackBerry and using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager you should be able to sync your contacts with Outlook.

We hope this helps!

Blackberry curve won't pair with my bluetooth headset

Hello,

Try the following. Hope this helps.

Okay,

1. Go into "Media" on your BlackBerry and enable incoming files (Menu-->Receive using bluetooth).
2. Find the file on your friend's device that you wish to send, and beam the said file accordingly.
2a. If you have not "paired" (created a friendship between) the two devices before, you will need to do this first...
2b. One of the devices will ask for a PIN code first and on this device you need to create a four-digit, numeric password that can be anything you like.
2c. On the second device, enter the four-digit, numeric password you created and follow the simple, on-screen prompts on both devices to complete the pairing (you can also pair the devices in advance by going into Menu-->Set Up Bluetooth).
2d. Depending on the devices being used and the time taken to complete the pairing, you may need to re-send the file (go back to step 1), otherwise, continue below...
3. When your friend's device tries to send you the file, your BlackBerry should ask you to name the file and where to save it; if you have not set the device as "trusted" in the bluetooth settings (Options-->Bluetooth-->your friend's device), you may need to approve the file transfer first though.
4. The file should now be on your device.

Note: by default, all
* Pictures are saved into /Device Memory/home/user/pictures or /Media Card/BlackBerry/pictures if you have a memory card.

* Sounds (including songs) are saved into /Device Memory/home/user/ringtones/ or /Media Card/BlackBerry/ringtones/ if you have a memory card.

* Videos are saved /Device Memory/home/user/videos or /Media Card/BlackBerry/videos if you have a memory card.

In other words, unless you specify somewhere else in step 3, this is where you will find your file.

And remember, your incoming file transfer WILL NOT WORK UNLESS YOU FIRST "PAIR" (CREATE A FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN) THE DEVICES, go into Media and CLICK MENU-->RECEIVE USING BLUETOOTH!!!

Bought off Ebay cant figure out how to get ringtones

There are also speaker phone options for Blue-tooth. There are several manufactures of speakers and earphones that are compatible with your phone. The Motorola and Plantronics products should work very well with it.

If you go to the Profiles icon on the desktop (looks like a speaker), and click on it, you should be able to get in to a menu system that is for the sound set up.

You should visit the Blackberry site for details about available downloads for your model of Blackberry. Most providers, if the user has a contract with them, should provide support for your device.

If it is the 7250 that you have, I hope you did not pay very much for it. This one is a very old model. The newer ones are far improved!

The 7250 was the first one that I owned. After about two years of use the Blue-tooth failed, and it started to have other intermittent faults. I am however a very heavy Blackberry user. I am on it almost 24/7 for my job. I have been through three Blackberries over the last 4 years. I have been using it outdoors in -45 F to +105 F temperatures. It has been out in everything from severe ice storms to very hot weather. I will soon be getting another new one. This is the best mobile phone I ever owned!

Black Berry 8100 Blue Tooth Didnt Recive any Data

Blackberries have stronger security than most phones. They can usually only be used to send data to another phone. Or to connect to a blutooth headset.

Want to send picture from phone to computer

Can you not use bluetooth to send pictures from phone to computer. Search on your mobile phones menu to see if there is bluetooth and enable it. If your mobile is not bluetooth enabled, you may still be able to send pictures from phone to pc if there is a USB cable slot in the phone. To send to the pc via bluetooth, either your pc has been set up with bluetooth, or, if not, you have
to install bluetooth using a bluetooth dongle which comes with CDrom, and may be purchased from computer stores like Currys or online for £10-15. Let me know if you have bluetooth, and I'll help you more. Once there is Blue tooth it needs to be turned on, and discovery mode has to be enabled, (not disabled) in order to communicate with other nearby bluetooth enabled devices. Get back to me tell me what you found out, Good luck papertigers

Bluetooth

Blue tooth software revisions keep occuring. The previous generation did not permit the transfer of MP3.... are your ring tone MP3's?

Also, make sure the the ring tone is not "copy protected"....

Bluethooth heandsfree

It should just be a manner of turning on the media player on the phone and pressing the button just the left of the roller ball (it's got 7 dots on it) and sending using bluetooth while the headset it on.
