I'm in the process of "downgrading" my Dell Inspiron 6400/e1505 from Vista to XP. Using nLite I have slipstreamed drivers downloaded from the Dell website and then created a bootable iso XP disk which...

Just boot from XP CD - pressing F12 should give you the option in Bios, allowing you to boot from CD when all is completed. Some PCs still need sata/scsi drivers loaded by pressing F6 in the install. If all fails read original manual that came with Dell 6400. If lost you should be able to download from dell support, using express service tag.

I have a vgn-ns140e 32 bytes sony vaio notebook but it mark me and DRIVER error OF THE CPI/SNY5001WHERE I CAN DOWNLOAD THE DRIVER?

Hi, do you mean the ACPI/SNY5001 device? And do you have Vista or XP installed?
1)This is the Vista driver you need:
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-download.pl?mdl=VGNNS140E&upd_id=3786&os_id=28

2)For XP this is the driver:
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-download.pl?mdl=VGNNS140E&upd_id=3936&os_id=7

You might need to install it via Device Manager
Right click on the ACPI\SNY5001 device->Update driver... and point it to your files where you downloaded the driver – it will find the INF and install sucessfully.
Regards,
Purito
