Make sure your quality options is set for best photo, also change paper to glossy photo paper. Under the maintenance button try to clean the print head and then try a print head alignment. I hope this helps you........Hutch

Photos have lines in the printed picture

There can be a number or reasons for this. The top to are that the printer may need re-calibrating or the print quality is set to economy/fast draft instead of photo which is great when trying to save ink but printing a photo requires greater detail and more ink. Printing will take longer too.

Hope this helps

When I print pictures I have lines every inch on the picture. How do I correct this?

That is almost always print head alignment or dirty ink jets. Run the cleaning and alignment utility that is in the printer software. If that doesn't work make sure when you print pictures you change the print settings to the right kind of paper (photo) and the right print setting (photo)

Lines through pictures

Try this one, Turn on the printer, Take out the inks, remove the printhead, put back the printhead make sure it will snap and you hear a click, put the inks back, wait for the printer to initialize, Press the Menu button, look for Calibrate printer, then print calibration page, then scan it after. Load a regular paper. Then try to print a demo page by pressing Photo and Copy at the same for 5 seconds then let it go. If same problem persist call this no for further assistance 1800 421 6699

Horizontal lines in pictures

If you are using original cartridges then there should not be a problem. The horizontal lines come from the cartridge. Can you pinpoint if it is a color or black line that is missing? My guess is that during the alignment procedure, you are asked to choose a number or letter that corresponds to picture of a the lines that show the best alignment. If you did this correctly, may I ask how many pictures you printed before seeing that line. Is it on the first print or 10th printing? Cuz if it is on the 5th or more full color picture, then the problem is that you you really have the wrong printer. The F380 capacity for printing full color pictures is miniscule. 1 ml per color. So usually after the 3rd color picture, the ink starts to run out. Let me know if this helps.
