I have a Mazda 6 2004 when I am driving the air gets hot and when I slow down it gets cold what could be the problem?

Coolant flow through the heater slows considerably at low engine speeds and can often be stopped by air or gas in the cooling system gathering in a convenient place, which in many cars is the heater, as engine speed rises the rate of flow increases and the (air) blockage can be overcome.

It is normal for gas bubbles to leak from the cylinder head gasket and a well designed cooling system will allow gas bubbles to escape easily into the degassing tank (coolant reservoir). Sometimes the degassing system becomes blocked or restricted and sometimes a failing cylinder head gasket produces more gas than the system can handle.

Kia sportage is overheating regularly

Check the coolant level, check the concentration 50/50? check the fan, radiator, thermostat and water pump.

07 Chevy equinox is running hot and heat its working properly. I've replaced the thermostat and water pump. It has also been bled. What could the problem be?

There is two main reasons an engine overheats...

1. insufficient coolant circulation.
2. insufficient airflow through the radiator.

The problem could be one or both of those. As yet the car is a little young to be suffering internal corrosion of the cooling system enough to cause the radiator to block and restrict the flow but it isn't impossible and it isn't too young to have a failing head gasket displacing coolant and disrupting the thermostat operation. Normally combustion gas bubbles that escape into the cooling system are quickly passed through the degassing outlet into the degassing tank (header tank, coolant bottle) where the gas is eventually harmlessly vented to atmosphere.
If the degassing system becomes blocked the gas can build up and be trapped, often under the thermostat preventing proper operation and displacing coolant.

The car is also not too young to have a radiator core that has a restricted airflow due to a buildup of mud, insects and/or vegetation. Similarly the cooling fan might not be working...

95 Acura legend LS,problem with engine overheat. changed radiator, thermostat,& most of the coolant hoses.however, the trapped air in the coolant has progressed,I was told to put a AST tank.Any thought?

Most modern engines have a degassing facility and sometimes those small ports and hoses block with silt and the small amounts of gas the head gasket has failed to seal will build up in the cooling system, displace coolant and perhaps disrupt the proper operation of the thermostat. Degassing is required to allow the gas to escape harmlessly to the space above the coolant where it eventually vents.

When a failing head gasket allows too much gas to pass into the cooling system even the degassing won't be sufficient and the thermostat operation is likely to be affected causing overheating and excess coolant displacement.

My thought in response to you mentioning trapped "air".

2000 Yukon XL not blowing hot air and overheating

The two symptoms are probably connected...

There are a number of possible conditions that could cause both symptoms and the possibility two unrelated faults have coincidentally caused them should not be ignored. The possibilities should be carefully checked by a competent person to ensure the cure is no more expensive than it needs to be.

It is possible the cause is a defective cylinder head gasket leaking more combustion gas into the cooling system than the degassing system can cope with or the degassing system itself is defective. It is also possible it is a simple leak and a low coolant level.

What can i do if my ecco tv screen is showing red colour only instead of full colour? i suspect the reason to be the external speaker that were near the tv screen

If the speakers inside the external box is not magnetically shelded type, placing it near to the TV; might cause this problem. An external degassing should be done, if it is so; as well as place the speaker boxes away from the TV too. Contact any service technician. Gopakumar Gopalan Google

Degassed tube how to fix? repair?

Do you mean de-purged tube or de-gause tube? Image intensifiers are not like CRT where they have a gausing problem. If a spot is burnt into the image intensifier, it unfortuantely is permanent.

If you mean de-purged (gasless), this can be done by a reputable service/repair workshop with nitrogen.

check the degassing circuit and replace the degassing relay, then use a degausing ring to bring the colors back to normal you should be ok. good possiblity a bad solder connection at the degausing circuit themister.
