It sounds like there may be an issue with the movement of the second hand on your stopwatch. There are a few possible causes for this problem. One possibility is that the battery in your stopwatch may be running low and needs to be replaced. Another possibility is that there may be a problem with the mechanical movement of the stopwatch. This could be due to a loose or broken part, or it could be a result of wear and tear over time.
To troubleshoot the issue, you could try replacing the battery in the stopwatch to see if that resolves the problem. If the problem persists, you may need to have the stopwatch serviced by a professional watch repair technician. They will be able to diagnose the problem and repair or replace any faulty parts.
The procedure for the Classima Chronograph watch is different. You need to pull the dial all the way out, press on both buttons and hold for 5 sec, until the seconds dial makes a full cirlce (signalling that the chronograph is now ready for manual reset, then press the button on 2 o'clock until the seconds dial reaches the 12 o'clock position, then press button at 4 o'clock, to transfer control to the 1/10 dial, press button at 2 o'clock again a number of times until it resets to 0, then press 2 o'clock dial again to transfer control to the little hours dial, and press 4 o'clock button number of times until you reset this one to 0 too. Now just push back the dial crown to original position to close the operation. Viola
Pull out the crown to the first or second set position then press and hold down the start button. The sweep arm should begin to move into the right position. Once it is at 12:00 or 0 release the button and press the crown back in.
Not sure why but the "home position" may be out of sync. Look under "Adjusting the home positions" in the owner's manual and follow directions to correct this problem.
Pull crown out to position 2 [in between unscrewed (1) and pulled all the way out (3)]. Tap Button B (bottom) to reset by step back to zero.
Incidentally, Button A works Hours register in same manner for position 2. You can similarly reset second and 1/10th with Buttons A and B, respectively, while in position 3. Cheers!
