I have a Canno scan N67OU, I have not used it for about 12 mths. Now I am trying to reinstall and it seems that I don't have the right driver. I have Windows XP version 2002. Trisha kirkwood

I am trying to scan a page and it is telling me no scan options are available.


Hi

You don't say how you're trying to scan.

You can scan by pressing the Scan button on the printer control panel or by opening the HP Solution Center program and clicking on Scan.

If neither of these options work then connect and disconnect the printer cable and if necessary test a different cable.

If none of the above fix the problem, the printer control program is probably either corrupted or partially deleted, so uninstall the program and all its components in Add or Remove Programs and then reinstall the program using the Easy Install option.

Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Uninstall a Program) > highlight - Remove.

If you don't have the driver and applications disc, you can download them from:

http://www8.hp.com/uk/en/support-drivers.html or your country specific www.hp.com HP site.

Try to use the Windows 7 driver from the Lexmark website. Uninstall the existing driver from your computer first. How to Uninstall Lexmark Printers. Reboot pc when prompted. Then, check if your Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit system type by going to the Start menu > right-click on Computer > Properties. Take note of the System Type.

I need to be able to print a document that uses inkjet. I have 12 print jobs of it in the print queque.

I see that you are having issues with your printer and that yor print Jobs are pilng up.

>On the lower right hand side you should see the printer icon if you click on it it should show you the print queue of your previous print jobs that piled up right click on each and select cancel.

>after canceling the print queue, reset you printer by uninstalling and reinstalling the your printer driver.

>Make sure that you have the Printer driver disc before uninstalling, if you don't have the printer driver disc try downloading it from the website of he manufacturer.

>Once the orinter driver is reinstalled try printing again.

>check if the printer will print properly again without having the Jobs pile up and not print at all.

We have a printer but it doesn't seem to print anything off, it has full ink cartridges in it and it is connected properly to the computer but still nothing. what can we do?


Don’t connect the printer usb cable first
1st you install the driver disc which is come along with the printer and when the software prompt you to connect the cable then plug the usb cable and follow the instruction.
make sure it is not pause,
Go to printer and faxes option and choose the printer model which you installed just right click on it you will see the option of use printer online. Also I suggest you to change the usb port and the cable also still if you facing the problem follow these steps, right click on my computer and go to properties then hardware in that click on device manger and check there is any other device is listed if it is there just remove it and click for scan for hardware changes when he prompt for driver reinstall the driver cd.

I cannot seem to install my printer ... can you help?? I have an HP Pavilion desktop a 1620n and my printer is an hp psc 2175 all-in-one printer* copier* scanner


if you already install the driver
kindly uninstall the printer driver and software restart the system and don’t connect the usb cable 1st install the driver cd and when it prompt you for connect the usb cable then connect it and follow the instruction. It will resolve your problem.

HP C7280 duplex scan problem


IN XP
click on start and select control panel.
in control panel on the top left hand click on switch to classic view if is not there dont worry.
Next Goto printers and faxes and then right click the printer icon and select printing prefrences and in the advanced tab make sure that duplex printing is enabled.

IN vista
Click on start
in the start search box type "printers" and click on ok.
Single left click your printer and then single right click your printer icon and single left click the option that says printing prefrences.
in the advanced tab make sure that duplex printing is enabled.Now try to give the scan command and it will work as long as the paper is fed in from the adf it will be better
