First thanks for the fast reply.

I checked at the back of the computer (when it was on) and found that a large fan was not spinning. The PSU is working and as well is the CPU fan.

    Hope this helps?

The constant "freezing" may be caused by a faulty/ non -working fan on the processor or in the power supply. Open the side of the computer and see if the CPU fan is working. Also, check to see if the fan on the power supply is spinning freely.

Is it the fan attached to the inside on the back?
That is the chassis fan that is not spinning. You need to replace it because the unit needs that additional cooling. It is easy to replace (4 screws). Your local computer store should carry it.
Don't let the PC freeze too much longer, it may cause major problems.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

I don't know what motherboard it is that i have to download the users manual can you please.....please help me

Turn off the PC. Remove the side panel from the case. Get a flashlight and inspect the mother board. You're looking for a number to identify the type of mother board. ASUS mother boards usually place this number just to the left of the memory slots. It's usually 5 or 6 digit long and made up of both letters and numbers. One of my computers with a ASUS mother board is a P5LD2. Once you know this number you can go to http://support.asus.com/ and download updated drivers for *********** board. You may need to identify what type of socket *********** has. If you have a fairly recent Intel microprocessor you probably have a socket 775 mother board. If it's an AMD microprocessor it's probably a SocketAM2 or AM3. You might have to do some searching if these choices don't work. I hope this advice helps you out.

My mother board asus k8v .my oprating system windows 7. old driver cd vga not suported

See if the pc has Win7 support go to

the asus.com web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers, for spare parts and service, Driver downloads and Installation Instructions as required.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

I hope this helps.

Can i use AMD phenom 9850 in m2n-sli deluxe mother board

According to all of my available resource's the processor needs an AM2+ socket but your board has an AM2 socket. So I would contact the manufacturer and ask them just to be safe, but I am sure that the board you have has an AM2 socket for the CPU.

Hope this Helps,

I have built a computer useing a foxconn mother board No 945g7ma-8ks2h. My Windows Vista Home Premium (bought boxed and new from comets store) will only part load the freeze, Will this board support this...

You might not have enough RAM, (Random Access Memory) RAM is memory that the computer temporarily stores for future commands, and I know Vista takes about 1-2 GB of RAM to run, if it can't handle it, I'd suggest using windows XP.
