Question about Hitachi 42HDF52 Television
Ok this is a Hitachi 42hdf52 plasma tv purchased around August of 2005. When you turn the tv off with the remote control or on the front panel and leave it off for over about 5 minutes and then turn the tv back on.........it loses its input selection and you must push the input button several times to set it back to where it was. The default seting is composite video input.......well thats just the one I dont use. So everytime I want to watch tv I turn the tv on and then have to push the input selection button 4 times to select the right input to watch tv. The Directv box is never unplugged or turned off and the tv is always plugged in and turned off by remote control. I use a red, blue, green cables to connect between the directv and the tv......directly.
TURN THE TV OFF AND LEAVE OFF. TURN THE CABLE ON AND TURN THE CABLE OFF. LEAVE THE TV ON.
