Question about Nokia 6300 Cellular Phone

Open Question

My mobile (cellular) phone (nokia 6300) keeps losing reception. This started a few weeks ago - I have had the phone since new for about 4 or 5 months. Can the antenna inside be 'broken'? I'm under the impression it's really just a plate, so i'm wondering if there could be another reason. It's under warranty, but I want to seem to know what I'm talking about when I ask for it to be repaired, especially since it's not a 'black and white' problem.. Thank you very much for any advice. my nokia 6300 does the same if i am next to the tower i just get 1 bar so wat can i do??????????????????????????????????need help

SOURCE: showing not charging display on screen when we hold for charging the mobile.

cause of the fault sometimes is in the charger it might not compatible with your phone try to use another charger, if the fault remain, refer it to service personel, I suggest it is the charging pin problem try to replace it, or maybe in battery terminal should fix the contact to battery.

SOURCE: Need PUK code, T-Mobile SIM is deactivated (cancel line)

  1. Contact your cellular service provider and have it provide you with a new SIM card. Let it know your account and phone number so that it can transfer your phone service to the new SIM card.
  2. Check the manual that came with your phone to see if the SIM card is found in the standard location beneath the battery or if it's located somewhere else.
  3. Turn your phone over and remove the back plate by pushing down on the slide panel and sliding it away from you. Remove the plate and then put your finger in between the battery and the side wall. Push the battery away and pull it out of the phone.
  4. See if the SIM card has a metal covering. Remove the covering if there is one present and then pull the SIM card out.
  5. Place the new SIM card in the card holder and then snap back down the metal covering. Make sure to place the card in the same direction as the old card or your phone will not be able to read it. Put the battery back in and then place the back panel back on. Power on your phone to ensure that the SIM is working properly.

WARNING
Do not enter in any codes if the phone asks for a "PUK" or "SIM lock" code. Contact your cellular provider immediately and request the code because if you enter in an incorrect code, your SIM card will permanently deactivate itself.

Nokia 6300 Switching off

Purchasing a new phone is easy and everyone is always in a hurry to use new phone but never go through the manual properly. You did the same you didn't put the battery on charge for 24 hours. Now to check your phone take another charged battery for nokia put it inside your phone and start it. It will deffinetly work. In order to revive your dead battery keep your battery on charge while the phone is switched off for minimum 24 hours. If it gets revived its ok or else purchase a new one.

Nokia 6300 Some contact names dont show when receiving texts

try entering the (+) plus sign and the country code then the mobile number / editing the numbers of your contacts. such as, a mobile number alone (depending on the sim) that reads as 09178943874 must be edited as +639178943874 (noting that +63 is the country code).
