Plasma TV will not turn on

Panasonic 42" PlasmaWhen I turn on the power button, the TV acts like it is warming up to turn on, there is sound and then nothing. The red light on the power button blinks seven times and then pauses and repeats the blinking cycle. I push the power button to turn off the TV but the TV will not turn off unless I unplug it from the wall.

The 7 blinks means that the SC scan drive board might need to be replace but only after checking the voltages from the power supply. If the voltages from the power supply are normal, then proceed to replace the SC scan board.

Why won't my Panasonic 42 TCP42S30 42 Plasma TV turn on.

Switch off TV, switch off power, remove plug and wait for 48 hours and retry.
If problem persists, I suggest it is better to refer it to a qualified service
technician, since the back cover has to be opened for investigation/rectification.

Panasonic Viera 46" plasma~no sound, no picture

I would use the warranty at Bestbuy at that point. Opening up the TV would most likely void the warranty.

42" lg plasma tv

The first thing is to take out the batteries from the remote when the problem acts up. If this fixes it, replace the remote. If not, go to the front of the tv and find all the buttons that are on the tv. Start by pushing all of the buttons one at a time. They should all feel the same and sound the same when you push them. If one of them does not, then the buttons are the problem. If they are good, take to a repair shop. The main control board is bad.

Plasma

did the tv get bumped or ran into it sounds like the plasma tube is broken but i need more information to be sure, you could have a power problem or a remote problem try unplugging it for 5 minutes to reset it, then hold the power button down for 5 seconds and see if it comes on if not give me as much more info as possible.
