Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 Digital Camera

1 Answer

I've had my Panasonic Lumix DMC LX3 for about just 3 months. It has worked like a charm until today, when suddenly several things have gone whack, as if the calibration died. I just uploaded pix to my computer, but I can't erase them from the camera. The buttons do not respond. When I turn the camera on, it goes immediately to the "Burst Shooting" window, and doesn't respond to the select buttons. It just blinks and beeps on the "Normal" selection. When I try snapping a picture, nothing happens.

My camera problems have been resolved, although I can't attest to how or why. After about six hours, as I prepared to pack off the little guy to the manufacturer, everything had gone back to normal. I'm left only to speculate that maybe the camera admitted some condensation from yesterday's frigid and wet weather which whacked out its electronic nervous system temporarily. I have no clue.

Just finished charging the battery of my Panasonic DMC-LX2. Attempted to turn on my camera but it doesn't work. The battery is completely charged and this has never happened before.

Hello....I have the same issue with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS5 camera we bought 3 years ago. All of a sudden the camera doesn't work. I have had many cameras and I have never seen this before. I will think twice about buying a panasonic again.

Why does my camera show horizontal lines on the pictures taken by the camera with blurred black and white pictures

OK, I read that sometimes the horizontal lines in some cameras comes from the external memory contacts being dirty. If your camera doesn't have an external memory card, then it's got to be an internal board anomaly.

Under FAQ's I did not see a reference to horizontal lines.

select 'RESET' in the 'SETUP' menu it says in the troubleshooting section of the manual.

How do I unlock the memory card for Panasonic DMC-TZ3. Suddenly locked - has always worked fine until today!

take the sd card out , there should be a loch on the left side when facing the card with the label up, slide the lock down and try agian or try a different card or else remove all power , wait 30 min , insert battery and try to see if the camera goes on (most pansonics have built in memory , so check if you can record a picture if yes then try the card agian )
