If you have issues with your PC, it could be Malware - I would recommend Malwarebytes (www.malwarebytes.org). This is fully featured product even during the 14 day trial! Download it, install it, turn on the 'Realtime Protection' feature (this is only available for 14 days in the free version), update it, and run a 'Full Scan' to see what pops up...
You can get free versions of Online PC Scanners (if you are unable to install an AV, this might be an alternate route for you to take, assuming that you are able to get to the Internet). Try http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/home.asp?langid=ie&venid=sym&plfid=21&pkj=SSYBMRSJRFSKLUKUMXC or similar options offered by McAfee or any other reputable AV software website. Though touted as "Online", there is typically some software download involved in this type of scan as well. You can run the 'Virus' detection on your PC and see what shows up after the scan.
Also, if you have not yet purchased the AV, you can usually find a 30 to 60 day fully featured trial being offered by many of the AV companies. Also, you can find good online deals for AV software for free after a mail-in rebate (some stipulate that a part of the rebate is based on you upgrading from a previous version of any/their own AV. etc.) See if yiou are able to find something not very expensive at www.frys.com.
I have personally been using Norton for several years now and have not had issues.
If you do not have a malware/virus issue, but are just trying to download, visit their website at www.symantec.com and get it from the 'Downloads' link - once you have downloaded it, during the install process, you will be asked for the Key - input it if you have it, otherwise, you will be able to try it for the trial period without having to purchase it.
