The tv remote has what you call a menu button press it and the menu will come.if you are using a universal remote you wont be able to get any menu most universal remote dont have menu features.if you do not have the originald remote press channel up and down together on the front panel of your tv and you can use the remote to acess what ever you want or the volume up and down button on the front panel of your tv.good luck.

Invalid Input-turning off seeting

I have the same problem in the office, but, not at home. I believe the IR sensor is confused by office florescent lighting, which has an unperseptible 60-cycle flicker not charactoristic of home incandescent lighting. Energy saving compact florescent probably have the same effect.

I have attached a dark tube over the sensor with relative success. This cluge is an unfortunate compensation for poor engineering because of the reduced angle of reception (the remote has to be directly in front of the sensor).

ASTAR TV W/SAME ISSUES

If you are experiencing power up issues then more likely your power supply is causing it and it will need to be replace or repair and since Astar no longer manufactured the power supplies assemblies, it will need to be repair.

Hello,
I know more about the astar tv and models.
The only problem of this model of LTV-20PW is shows blocks when happen to some of channel on TV. Because of the bad reception or your location. To clear this problem is go to v-chip and clear off, menu, channel added. That should take care of it.

No Picture or Sound from ASTAR 32 inch LCD Television

Google Allelectronics or Hosfelt Electronics for these caps
I just ordered these at a good price but ordered 35Volt instead.
Also replacing 3300uF caps too as they are bulged at top.
Hope this fixes it. Will let you know.
