Question about Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer
I have a washer that worked fine and had no problems until I washed a set of pillows. The washing machine quit working and remained filled with water. The machine will not spin to remove the water. Is there a reset button or some type of switch that needs to be repaired or replaced? Is so where is it located and how do I access it? I do not have a service manual.

Hi, thanks for using the FixYa service. Your lid switch is probably broken. Make sure you can hear it click when you open and close the lid. It it is a very common problem on that model. Probably has nothing to do with the pillows, that was just the last load in the machine before the common part failure. Get me the exact model number and I can get you the replacement part number.
