Question about Mitsubishi WT-46805 46" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

Have a base to a 46805 to be disposed of, any suggestions?

Some chat site I came across about four months ago they were saying how hard it was to find a base.for this model. I have no need for mine now and thought you might have a suggestion where someone might be interested, in either a donation to a Charity or for sale.

Thank you for your help.

I am attempting to connect a Verizon Fios QIP6200-2 HD set top box to my Mitsubishi WT-46805 HD TV using the Y, Pr and Pb RCA connections (no HDMI port on TV) I cannot get any HD channels to work.

The set will have two component inputs, one is NOT HD.

You want to connect to the DTV input which if you look from the back will be marked 480/1080 I .

Also double check the connections to be sure blue-red-red and green to green.

How do i use my hdtv connection? how do i use it? i want to connect my laptop to my mitsubishi wt-46805 to use as a monitor, can i do that? if so how?

You may also find that you have to change your resolution settings a few times to get the right one for your tv. If both TV and laptop have S-video connections that is a pretty safe bet for connecting both together( small round with four connections)
just a thought, hhope you get sorted :)

Mits 46805 - Replaced IC's now picture is dim!

Good Day, Nickb2b;

The IC's you installed will not cause a dark/dim picture......but I would like you to check two things:

1. Make sure you put all cables that you may have unplugged into their proper positions, the cables are marked with numbers, ensure all cables are properly seated,

2. Look for fluid on the PCB's.

Good Luck, big IRISH.

1. HORIZONTAL PULLING AND TEARING, MAY ALSO HAVE VERTICAL ROLLING OR VERTICAL BLANKING BAR LOCKING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PICTURE. CHECK C2C52 10 UFD @ 50 V OFF THE BASE OF Q2C51 ON THE SIGNAL PCB. 2. CHECK C2P05 100 UFD 16 V OFF PIN 3 OF IC2P01 (9-VOLT REGULATOR) ON THE SIGNAL PCB
