My boss at work recently bought this printer used and I have little information on it. It is a Sharp AR-BC320. My defualt gateway is not matching up with the IP gateway on the printer. Could anyone please tell me how to change the IP on the printer so I can hook this up over our network?

Thanks

If you know the IP address, connect the printer with a laptop using a cross cable. Go to the printer web page by typing the IP address of the machine in the Internet explorer. Browse the menu under network setting and save after you change the gateway

How to add email address to AR-BC320 copier

Hello connie_durha, Thank you for the clarification. Try the following:
  1. Type the ip address into your web browser and press enter.
  2. A printer information page will appear for your Sharp printer.
  3. There should be a section for email (it might be labeled "sender").
  4. A login box may popup- login name is admin / password is Sharp
  5. Once you are in click "add."
  6. Fill in the required boxes and optional if necessary.
  7. Once everything is filled in click "submit."
  8. Your email address should now be added to the printer.
Please post a reply with any issues. Hopefully this helps. Thank you for using FixYa! Edward

Problem with scanner not maintaining profile and producing network error, usually re initiallizing the scanner from the location works, but not always

Go into the copier's web page and look at your scan destinations. If they are IP addresses then they will change everytime DHCP assigns new IP addresses to your clients. If your clients don't reboot their machines then the old IP address information will still be in the copier. If the destination is a computer name you either need to get a local DNS server involved or update the DNS ip's in your web page.

Printing from a mac OSX.5.8 to a Sharp copier AR BC320?

You will need to purchase the Post Script Driver for that model. Sharp Copiers require a product key code to enable post script on their copiers. A sharp dealership will have to sell it to you as well as to get the product key code for the postscript driver.

Looking for a reset code for sharp ar-bc320

The default key operator access code on that machine is 00000
with this code you can enter network settings and change ip and subnetmask to your new requirements.

If this doesnt work you can get keyop password by entering simulation mode and get service report which has user code on it.
