I do not have a daewoo remote for my daewoo tv/not cable ready

I have two tv's and cable service but recieve only 12 channels on my daewoo tv and and 70 on the other. My service provider is Armstrong
and I have contacted them for help and they believe because I do not
have a daewoo remote and the one I have is a One for All.

I hope You can provide me with a remote or help in some other area.

Thank You

You need to switch from the antenna mode on your tv to the cable mode Then it will allow you to recieive those channels ( use menu button on front of tv! This has nothing to do with the remote!

You need the original daewoo remote to access the service menu and unlock the band.

Get first an original replacement remote, and then call service again , so that they will guide you through the service procedure.

There is no way to access service mode, and fix the problem, on this TV without an original remote.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

TV keeps shutting off and changing channels

hide all your remote controlls and put some tape over the front cover of the tv where you think the remote control reciever may be , if this fixes it then it means something is amiss with a rogue remote , most likely batterys..could even be sunlight ??

is it a cable channel that is locked or a normal TV channel ??

Making the TV VHF plus UHF cable ready

If your tv tuner on vhf only goes to channel 13 you will not recieve uhf channels if you are hooked to cable tv. You can do a search for mid band to uhf converters (converts uhf to vhf).We used to use them in the early 80's. Even if you can find one it will only go to channel 22.

Same problem...Went to Goodwill Store, they usually have a large basket of remotes. I found a Daewoo remote for a TV only, HOWEVER on the bottom it has a AIR/CABLE button. The remote doesn't say Daewoo on it only..."Remote Controller R-25B03". The rest of the button of course work with the TV portion of the DVN-14F6N.

Change channels manually on front and go below channel #1 and then it should say "video" 1 or "Aux". Hope that helped you. Have a great day. Jay
