Remote is not working

I have the same thing. NOTE THE TROUBLE IS NOT IN THE REMOTE IN THIS CASE. It is in the control ciruits OR the power supply ciruits which operate the control circuits. [I think}.

My set is "stuck" on chan. 10, I get a great picture, the volume is "stuck" where it was when the trouble occurred; I was changing the channel with the +/- controls on the remote when the trouble occured- I am not sure if I heard a sound from the set when it stopped responding or not.

Now, there is no response in the set to the buttons on the set or the buttons in the remote- OTHER THAN ON/OFF. -and re. the on/off- when I shut the set off with the remote- th picture goes dark as it should pretty immediately- but there is about a 15sec delay before the sound shuts off [and the pilot light on the set goes red at that point also]

I have opened the back of the set [I bought the set from a crook on ebay, it had been opened, past warranty anyway] and I MUST ADMIT I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY/CRAFTSMANSHIP I FOUND THERE. THE THING IS RATHER BEAUTIFULY/STURDILY MADE!!


dOES ANYONE HAVE A SCHEMATIC FOR THIS SET OR KNOW OF ONE THAT HAS BEEN FIXTD??
