If your are certain that you have a signal going to the imputs of your amp and you are certain that the speakers are OK and you have not turned the gain control all the way down then that just leaves a fried amp. Good luck.

Next to no output from amp. verified all connections and power, ground. Protection LED not on. green LED light is on. verified sub is in working order. this amp is need of a service. what can be done

well... you have to wire the sub correctly to the amplifier to get good sound.. you could be giving it like an 8 ohm load and this will cause the amp to put out barely anything at all.. and the subwoofer wiring diagram willl tell you all you need to know...

No LED power lights go on

the light with the power light(middle) is a blue/purple faint light try checking it out at night. The squiggy(as heat waves) will only light when the amps shuts down due to thermal protection(wait for it to cool). The bolt/yellow (short circuit) will light when there is an electrical overload in any of the wires(check +ve leads).

LED Light is on, but no sound from sub at all.. Have double backed on all wires but still nothing! HELP!!

If you've overheated it a number of times, it's possible that you've damaged the amp and it's trying to protect itself even though it's too late. Try disconnecting the sub from the amp. If there's no change, then there's a problem within the amp. It could be a thermal switch or possibly a stressed amplifier module.

Hope this helps. Good Luck!!

Absence of sound

If you have another amp in the vehicle, swap the RCAs and speakers to see if you get sound through the other amp.

Generally, if the red light is on and there is no significant DC on the speaker terminals, the amp is in good working order (for the older Rockford amps).

Xm-6650 led light on short is on and no sound

Disconnect all speaker wires and signal cables from the amp. If it powers up, the wiring needs to be checked. If it still shuts down, the amp likely has blown output transistors.

Rt 202 led light red and no sound

With the system turned off, disconnect the speaker wires from the amplifier. Turn on the system. If the light stays red, then the amplifier has an internal problem. If the light turns green, then your problem is a blown speaker, or a speaker wiring issue.
