    Hi All,

Thank you for all your help before. I have two of these 'TheBox' . I have applied the codes to both of them. ONe of them is now working fine but the other box (even though it has got all the ch****ls) it constantly switches off and on every 2 min ... this is without me changing the channels or switching off the box. IT doesnt even go on the standby it automatically switches off .... !!!

Do you think thebox is broken completly or have i got some HW/SW problem. your help is much appreciated.

Also please note this has only started to happen since I updated the code.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner! if you have not fixed the problem yet HERE GOES

go to any scrambled channel and press MENU then type 1570 to get to the secret menu.
then go to NAGRAVISION then you will see some boxes with numbers(codes if you will) you need to select the correct PROVIDER ID. in my case CHORUS by pressing the right arrow until the NTL at the top changes to CHORUS it will also change the number in the box to 5E 01.
when this is done there will be a box with 00 in it and directly under that there is another box with a code sequence make it read: CE 19 2E 87 80 61 74 90
when this is done go back to the 00 box and press the right arrow so that it reads 01 the code you just put in will change DONT PANIC just make the code sequence read : 62 FA 09 F3 CE 05 FA 79
press ok to store and EXIT (the button next to MENU) all the way back to your channels which should now be WORKING!
sorry for the TYPO in the first solution! the third pair on the first sequence read originally 23 which is wrong it should read 2E.
Best of Luck! HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Can you help locate instructions for use of Blue Point,(Snap-on), ya2700 module tester? I lent mine out, and never saw them again. Thanks

I'm with ya. Can't find them anywhere online. There are a number of sites I frequent that have millions of manuals between them and none of the sites had anything for that one. I'd suggest contacting Snap-on directly. Here's there's contact form.

The motor brake on my pro tech miter saw doesn't function. Is there a doable fix ? Also need an owner's manual

The brake on saws like yours are controlled by the switch. They do go bad and are easily replaced if the parts are still available. Your heading says you have a Makita tool but you didn't give the model number. If you go to the Makita home site at:

you can put your model number in the search box and get a parts breakdown and owner's manual if they are still available. Parts are available online at sites like where you can also get a parts breakdown but not manuals.

Was cooking I'n oven. Heard a big pop sound and saw lghtning I'n tne oven. Now oven will heat a little but won't cook or broil ?

That sounds like the heating element went out when it first goes it could look like a lightning strike. Replacing the bake or broil element ,depending which one was on at the time will fix your oven. If you were baking replace bake element if ya werebroiling replace that one.
Reply with EXACT model number and i'll give ya the part number

I need parts for my poulan chain saw a small plastic hose inside the tank gas tank.

If you have your EXACT model number you can use this site to find the part your looking for:

Start under poulan/weedeater then choose: / poulan pro / saw / gas / then choose your model number. It will bring up a parts diagram of your chainsaw.
Add the part to the cart by changing the Qty to 1 and then add to cart. You will then see the part and the price

There are so many different Poulan Pro model numbers that I can not even begin to guess your model.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,

All my fuel lines fell apart. I do not know where they go.

All Poulans are similar, I am forced to believe your saw is a "2375 Type MyBestGuess".
An example IPL for a Poulan "2375 Gas Chain Saw Type 7" follows (may not be your saw):
The IPL (exploded parts list) for your saw is the only detail for fuel line routing and it is sketchy at best. Fuel components and part numbers are listed but may be on different illustrations. They are also beneficial with disassembly/reassembly: It is deceptive it appears the filtered line goes to the primer, it doe not! It connects to the carburetor input. Trace your existing lines and they will bear my fuel schematic out.

A typical fuel system and a couple of hints can be found here:

If your saw is not a Type 7, you can find the correct IPL here:
The dash number of your serial number is the type.

I have an old craftsman table saw. i believe the "brake" or gears a shot. the saw runs very loud and shakes. now no matter how much i tighten the blade the nut loosens after one cut.

With the saw unplugged and the blade tightened, using your fingers try to wiggle the blade side to side and lift it up and down. Other than a little flexing of the blade, there should be no movement. If you have much movement you have a problem and the saw is dangerous. If this is a belt-driven saw, then you may be able to replace the bearings on the arbor (the shaft the saw mounts to) or you may have to replace the whole arbor. If this is a direct-drive saw (the saw mounts directly on the motor shaft) then the bearings that have failed are in the motor and you are less likely to be able find and install replacement bearings. If you find the model number of your saw, you might be able to find drawings and replacement parts on this site:
Thanks for using FixYa. Let me know if I can help more. Good luck. Al K

I need a owners manual for Craftsman 16'' chain saw modle 358.35161D I bought a reconditioned unit today but they don't provide an owners manual-----said to get one on the internet Wayne Heins Sr....

358.35161D did not work, 358351610 did (Operator's Manual):

IPLs for you saw here (Craftsman):
Type "358351610" in the "By model number" window. and click search.

Your saw is almost certainly made by Poulan. I think this is the correct IPL (PP3516AVX Gas Saw).
There will differences in color, but you may save a few $ and response is usually faster.

We are prohibited from contacting you directly. If you need more help or need to contact me please reply below. HTH

Changing blade on Dremel scroll saw

I would suggest calling Dremel direct at 1-800-437-3635 and asking for tech help. You might also try their website at, but I have been there and you need to know the exact model number. Let me know and I will dig deeper.
